Around T-town

As you can see, this guy is pretty fun!  Whether we’re hanging out, running after kids at a birthday party, visiting with family, or in this instance, walking around Tacoma.  We just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stroll through Wright Park on such a beautiful evening in April!!
Isaac is truly becoming my best friend, and I am happiest when I’m spending time with him.

He already fits right into the family, and loves me for my crazy quirky side (see below picture of me with the worlds biggest dandelion!!).

Happy Birthday, Zeke!!!

We had a full birthday weekend, starting off with Gwenna turning one and then ending with ZEKE turning TWO! There was bubble blowing, painting, gun toting, watermelon-eating, and in general more birthday than you can shake a stick at!

Some would even say too much...

To see even more birthday fun, check out the picasa album:

On April 25th Gwenna turned ONE and so we got together to celebrate her little wild, sweet, cheerful, loud self!  She's just a treasure to be around!  So busy and so loving and happy!

Tulip Festival

I have been so richly blessed to have such a friend in Isaac!  We spent a wonderful day driving up to Mt. Vernon, visiting his old haunts, taking wayyy to many pictures, laughing a lot, eating 50% off Easter candy, too many jelly beans, reminiscing, smelling tulips, pretending we were too cool for school, and generally enjoying one another.

Practicing his photogenic face:

Not quite sure WHY he's sitting in a field of daffodils:

Just being us!

Pretty much sums up how I feel about him:

Sooo many beautiful sights!!

Senior pictures, anyone?

Tulips on a tree?

Thank you for an amazing day, "I"!

Happy Easter!

This Easter was a bit of a blur as it was the first year I had to coordinate TWO Easters! It's yet another rite of passage into adulthood and one I was glad to undertake!

Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures with Isaac's family.

We went to church at Mars Hill in West Seattle and had the privilege of watching two of our friends, who recently recommitted their marriage, get baptized, first John, then John baptizing his beautiful bride!! Then we went listened to a sermon, headed out to find my lost shirt (another post for another day), and then it was off to run the West Seattle, Tacoma, West Seattle race!

Traditional Seder meal

Reading the Seder questions:

No peaking while we hide the afikomen!

Some of us were a little tired from being up most of the night before...

He tasted red wine for the first time during the Seder. I think we're safe!

Auntie Lorna carried on Gabbie's traditional toadstools:

I will deign to let you kiss my lips:

"Do you like kisses, Caleb?"

Outtakes from Easter family pic:

check out the professional smile on this one:

The men just havin' a chat:

Morgan's mom and dad joined us this year!

Total bread monster! He ate almost the entire piece!

Handsome GF!

Getting to know each other:

The search for the Afikomen is on:

Clue time:

Jade found it!

Special prize:

The basket of goodies the afikomen redeemed for us, just as Christ once redeemed US at a price:

Grandma (Annette) supplied plenty of Eastery goodness that was enjoyed by all:

"I just want the eye!"
